Commodities represent more than a third of all goods in world trade. With the abundance of resources in Asia as the basis of the economic boom, the corporations have created a structural basis in the target countries. Today, for example, the topics economy, sustainability and resource efficiency are important topics in which GBP INTERNATIONAL advises its customers. Cultivation, extraction and further processing of raw materials often take place in different countries. In recent years, fast-growing tiger states such as India, Brazil or China have emerged as buyers of raw materials. Ethical, social and ecological criteria in the mining countries have been often in contrast to purely economic interests. We note a much more sensitive approach to these issues in recent years.
